Please write, call, and email today! The defeat for the State, having to openly declare that Mumia will live, and the fact that they can no longer legally execute Mumia, has meant a severe backlash. After his transfer off of death row, Mumia was thrown in the hole at SCI Mahanoy.

The prison administration excuse that "paperwork" is holding up his transfer to general population in this medium security prison is transparent. The disinformation is part of the strategy to create confusion and disorient. Make no mistake. These conditions are clearly designed torture. They are being enacted to to silence Mumia and us.

Mumia Abu-Jamal is being held in extremely repressive conditions. And like thousands of prisoners, residents of solitary confinement and isolation units in every hole in every prison across the country, Mumia is being subject to draconian, dehumanizing and brutal conditions. Solitary confinement. He is shackled whenever he is outside his cell, even to the shower. He is shackled around his ankles, waist and wrist. He is shackled while behind Plexiglas during visits. Subject to strip searches before and after visits. Unable to walk freely. Having bits of paper to write notes on, with a rubber flex pen. No shelves, 4 books. No access to news reports, letters delayed. Restricted visiting. Glaring lights on 24 hours a day. Only one brief phone call to his wife. No access to adequate food or commissary. These conditions are worse than death row.

1) Write, Phone, and email the Secretary of Corrections: Demand that Mumia be transferred to General Population! And demand the shutdown of RHU (Restricted Housing Unit) Torture Blocks!

The ruling political party, PDP which is one of the repainted COLONIAL POLITICAL PARTIES chameleonly directly and indirectly entered into power since 1960s as dual regime, military and civilian regimes.

Now sign of bad and inefficient government continues to mount higher and higher. Which government on earth would ignore the plight of Boko Haram, Biafra, Niger Delta Region, etc and shift leadership attention to non-soluble/fertile peace driver and because of eminent weakness, revert to borrowed ideology of the west which is made for and failed in the west such as declaration of state of emergency and use of force on mobile forces, etc without negotiating and mediating core and other causes of the agitation and conflict.

British and other colonial masters applied the theory of divide and rule which comes with severe forms of war/conflict with bloodshed because when there is bloodshed the division and rectitude widdens and remains endless and victims die with renewed annoyance, anger and pains.

These parties and their regimes created civil war and the on-going religion, ethnic, political and other civil conflicts across Nigeria. In Nigeria the fruits of these conflicts are personal wealth for nigerian leaders, politicians and lawmakers, oil/gas companies and their foreign/domestic grantors and allies and finally impoverishment of the mass people of Nigeria.

Majority of the wealth looted and acquired by nigerians and foreigners is repatriated and landed in foreign financial institutions and nigerian looters and owners are variously killed to enable foreigners acquire the wealth or loots.

From the regional system of government to the time bomb called CREATION OF LOCAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS to the emergence of warrior called LAND USE ACT OF NIGERIA. State and Local Government Area (LGA).

Under this irate imported construction of the unification theory of the federalism of Nigeria to brew ethnic or communual and larger or expanded civil wars/conflicts, partitions or creations of state and LGA are continually done under ethnic and political preferences with strong eyes on location and localization of oil/gas and other natural resources into the lands where their nigerian allies live to enable unchecked oil/gas and other natural resources exploration and exploitation.

At this point, the Nigeria's Land Use Act is not applied to conduct partition or creation of state and LGA and the rightful or natural owners of the land are not considered. See other cases, Nigeria/Cameroon - Bakassi Peninsula, Sudan, Iraq, Angola, etc.

To achieve this extra-judicial goal, oil/gas companies and their allies and grantors pay large bribes to the leaders, politicians and lawmakers of the sitting government of nigeria, commissioners of the Act, courts, judges, etc.

In the Niger Delta Region, the Oil/gas companies deny communities employment and other means of livelihood used the leverage of unlawful power given to them by these nigerians to arrogantly destroy their limited agro-land, water, air and positioning system. See the criminal case, Ken Saro Wiwa v. Anglo-Dutch Oil (Shell) Company, Government of Nigeria v. Dick Cheney (Vice-President of the United States of America 2011), etc.

The oppressed communities have nowhere to go to get justice and put food on the table other than result to violence. These colonial masters and Nigeria allies created conflicts are not limited to the Niger Delta Region but across Nigeria.
